Who is Cardiostasis?

Cardiostasis is a band formed in 2023 by four highschool friends in Capelle aan den IJssel/Rotterdam, consisting of Jonathan Martosoewondo, Jeffrey Li (Jeff Stasis), Alex Kokee and Koen Erkeland. The band started out playing covers from popular bands such as Metallica, Nirvana, Radiohead and Foo Fighters but have grown into playing heavier and a more refined sound, each member adopting their own influences.

Later in 2023, Jonathan left the band, leaving Alex as the main vocalist. This made the main lineup consist of Alex Kokee as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Jeff Stasis on lead guitar, and Koen Erkeland as the drummer.
